19 of the Russian's 21 titles have been earned on hard courts
A revitalized the Russian player secured his maiden trophy for nearly 30 months with a win over Corentin Moutet in the tournament final.
The athlete, a former number one, has endured a difficult season, achieving just a single victory at the major tournaments and experiencing a setback at the New York tournament.
His varied form on the professional circuit - and issues with his service game in specific - resulted in him exiting of the world's top 10 and ultimately separating with former mentor Cervara.
Now working with Thomas Johansson and Rohan Goetzke, Medvedev has gradually progressed in the last few weeks - peaking in a closely contested competitive win over challenger Corentin Moutet.
This marks the player's initial championship since the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hardcourt from March of that year.
The win also means he has secured twenty-one titles at twenty-one distinct events.
"It's the first time I have attended a tournament with my both daughters simultaneously, so to win a championship is really nice," stated tennis professional the champion.
"This victory is in tribute of my younger daughter Victoria, because the first title I won when my older daughter Alisa was delivered was for her."
Medvedev, the past champion, had been defeated in his previous six title deciders, featuring in Halle earlier this year.
The player's counter-punching play style and regular reactions on the tennis court had caused commentators to question if his skill to perform at the top level was concluded.
Yet the athlete has implemented adjustments in the last few weeks, striving to advance forward and compete assertively, backed up by an enhanced service.
Medvedev recovered from a break down in the opening set against the difficult opponent, securing four of the last five games to take the lead.
Both players swapped service breaks in the following set before Moutet, bidding for his first tour title, gained dominance to create a third set.
He saved four early-game break points in a close third set before Medvedev won the break to 15 to secure the win.
Appropriately, Medvedev clinched victory with a point at the net, with his opponent unable to manage a volley after two hours and 38 minutes.
