The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two time unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the usual stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
